Kerhonkson, NY -- From November 13 to 15, a 22-hour course on aromatherapy and healing will be conducted by Holistic Nurse and Certified Clinical Aromatherapist Linda Smith at Body of Truth Holistic Spa and Retreat Center in 715 Cherrytown Road, Kerhonkson, New York located in the Mid-Hudson Valley. "Sent to Heal and Anoint" is the first of a three-part certification course in Clinical Aromatherapy. This class will focus on the science and art of essential oil use in conjunction with energy healing methods and prayer. This two and a half day course explores the healing traditions of essential oils from ancient cultures, Biblical experience, medieval healers and modern day application. Offered by the Institute of Spiritual Healing & Aromatherapy (ISHA), the event is intended for health care practitioners, students seeking advanced training leading to certification in Clinical Aromatherapy and anyone looking to learn more about Aromatherapy for self-care.
