WHAT: Media preview of 2 dozen pieces of Rosica’s doodles and three doodles created especially for the charities

Over the years doodles and doodling have taken different forms and formats. ManyU.S.Presidents doodled – Andrew Jackson, Teddy Roosevelt, FDR, JFK, LBJ, Ronald Reagan and our current President Barack Obama. In the 1950s and ‘60s Roger Price drew stick figures with funny captions. Some doodlers use their drawings in meditation. A few corporations are encouraging doodling at meetings since doodling helps the doodler to focus on the meeting content avoiding daydreaming.
John Rosica, ex NY PR and record business exec, has been doodling for four decades and his drawings are enlarged four to five times, printed on acid-free art paper and framed under glass. The three original doodle drawings that will benefit the charities each has a swatch of the non-profit’s color. The typical black and white 17” by 22” drawings will benefit Ovarian Cancer (teal); Broadway Cares Fights Aids (red) and Alzheimer’s (purple).
