Over the years doodles and doodling have taken different forms and formats. ManyU.S.Presidents doodled – Andrew Jackson, Teddy Roosevelt, FDR, JFK, LBJ, Ronald Reagan and our current President Barack Obama. In the 1950s and ‘60s Roger Price drew stick figures with funny captions. Some doodlers use their drawings in meditation. A few corporations are encouraging doodling at meetings since doodling helps the doodler to focus on the meeting content avoiding daydreaming.
John Rosica, ex NY PR and record business exec, has been doodling for four decades and his drawings are enlarged four to five times, printed on acid-free art paper and framed under glass. People say this format is one-of-a-kind doodle art. His drawings literally come directly from the subconscious mind. To view them, visit www.theartofdoodles.com.
