To thrive, though, experts say 365 has to beat its many rivals without hijacking customers from Whole Foods itself. The chain, which debuts in Los Angeles' Silver Lake neighborhood, is critical to Whole Foods.

Two Navy F/A-18s were on a routine training run when they collided off the coast of North CarolinaThe crew members of two US Navy warplanes were rescued after their jets collided while on a training mission off the coast of North Carolina, authorities said Thursday. The US Coast Guard said a fishing vessel rescued the four survivors from the sea following the collision at around 10:30 am (1430 GMT). A Coast Guard helicopter then hoisted the crew off the boat and took them to a hospital.
