Dear Editor:

This unbelievable story concerns our two New York Senators in Washington, D.C.

On March 5th, 2009, a meeting took place in the U.S. Senate. The topic being discussed was whether or not senators and their constituents should have to pay taxes to the United Nations.

When the vote was over, 51 senators votes “Yes” against the wishes of their constituencies.

Both Sen. Charles Schumer and Sen. Kirstin Gillibrand voted “Yes.”The media in Washington didn't think that this betrayal was newsworthy. It was all hush-hush.

I wrote to both senators. They decided to ignore my mail. Now, you call have the final word, come November 2nd. They have let us all down. Please show them the exit door.

Nobody is above the law.

Sincerely,

James O'Neill

Maspeth
