The second annual edition of the festival, which is held at the Citi Field complex, will feature superstars such as Jay Z, Future and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
With serious success last year, festival organizers, Founders Entertainment, have expanded the festival into a third day.
Nas, L.L. Cool J., Action Bronson and Heems of Swet Shop Boys are Queens natives expected to perform. This year, The Meadows Music and Arts Festival will be livestreamed exclusively by TIDAL.
Similarly to last year, The Meadows will feature signature craft cocktails, food vendors and street art.
The festival will also continue to embrace the amazing culinary diversity of Queens and New York City in general with mouth-watering foodie experiences like the Infatuation Village and an expansion of the “Feastival of Queens,” curated by Queens-based food writer and gastronomic adventurer Joe DiStefano.
“As born and bred New Yorkers, the partners at Founders Entertainment are proud to have the opportunity to spotlight so many great artists from New York City while shining a light on the iconic borough of Queens,” festival organizers said in a statement.
Continuing in their long tradition of giving back to the local communities their festivals call home, Founders Entertainment will again be working with and donating to local organizations, nonprofits, and community groups for the 2017 festival.
