This year at QFW a fresh women’s wear designer emerged from the United Kingdom to showcase her collection for the first time in the United States. Denise Mahmud of Moixa (pronounced moy-sha) Clothing featured her plus-size line of dresses for the modern career woman. All of the fabrics used in her collection are personally hand-woven and dyed by the designer herself. Wilbur Pack Jr. of SK Wilbur wowed the crowds with his stunning ‘Superwoman’ dress and accessory collection, dominated by the animal print. His colors and dress bodies were so elegant and chic as his collection completely flowed from head to toe. He showcased his pieces altogether at once to give the audience a full view of the “miracle to the madness.” The colors paired with the prints, bags and hats gave new meaning to mixing and matching as each piece created a fresh, fashion-forward complete package.
