Easter, which falls on Sunday, April 5, is right around the corner! This weekend, get hopping around Queens and Brooklyn as both boroughs are offering a number of family-friendly egg hunts that are sure to brighten up moods, no matter what the weather has in store for us.

1. Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday, April 4

9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

$20

If you want your kids to have a more active experience, head to this rock climbing gym which will force the kids to show off their athletic skills. After the hunt, they can spend the day scaling the walls. They’ll each be sent home with a Brooklyn Boulders bag. | Brooklyn Boulders, 575 Degraw St., Gowanus

2. Weekend Celebration

This weekend event is a hit among children and adults so be sure to get there early in order to enjoy Easter egg hunts, decorating eggs on the farm, candy stations and an Easter Bunny photo opportunity. | Queens Zoo, 53-51 111th St, Corona

3. Spring Egg-stravaganza!

12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

$11; Does not include garden admission

Rain or shine, children will have tons of fun at the “egg-xellent” garden. They can take part in an egg scavenger hunt or play some old-fashioned games. 4. Barnyard Egg Hunt

Ever had an egg hunt in a country-styled atmosphere? The Queens County Farm Museum will hide eggs around their orchards for you to find. There will be games like egg tosses and if you get tired, take a spin on the property’s hayride. 5. Williamsburg Egg Hunt

Saturday, April 4

12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

$10 per child for egg hunt with additional fees

Bring your own basket to this wonderful event. McGolrick Park offers a traditional egg hunt with 500 eggs and you get a chance to meet the Easter Bunny. There’s live music and the day ends with a spring parade! | McGolrick Park, Williamsburg
