The Theatre by the Bay's new production "Wine, Women and Song" is a delightful cabaret show of female empowerment.

Classic songs such as "Somebody Loves Me" and "Lady Is A Tramp" chronicles moments in a woman's life from coming-of-age tales to gaining wisdom with age. The show captures love lost and love found, being independent, the feeling of loneliness and the hardships of expectation.

In an intimate space, accompanied by a talented live band, the charming cast dazzles without the need of an elaborate set. The stage is minimal and each performer dons an all-black outfit which draws you in. All nine performers are quite gifted, with standouts like Cathy Chimenti, Angie Herna and Anna Maria Charalambous.

If you are looking for a lovely night out, “Women, Wine and Song” will be at the Bay Terrace Garden Jewish Center, 13-00 209th Street, in Bayside. The final shows are on Saturday, March 25 at 8:30 p.m. and Sunday, March 26 at 3 p.m.
