To introduce constituents to the new setting, they will host an open house event later this summer.
“Though we have moved two stops on the subway, our dedication to serving the needs of western Queens remains steadfast,” said Gianaris. “As always my door will be open to the residents of Astoria, Long Island City, Sunnyside, Woodside, Ridgewood and Woodhaven.”
In addition to serving as the district office for Gianaris and Simotas, the location will also act as a satellite office for Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney.
“I look forward to welcoming everyone to our new district office in the heart of Astoria,” said Simotas. “I hope that our new location can help us to be even more engaged with the community and I encourage everyone to stay informed and connected with their local elected officials.”
