The Meadows might be the biggest festival in Queens for foodies.

In its second year, The Meadows has expanded to a three-day loaded experience of music and food. Superstar performers like Jay-Z, Nas, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Wheezer will take the various stages in Flushing, and you can chow down while watching them. From local spots to trendy Instagram-worthy bites, this year’s food game is on point.

The Infatuation Village, curated by recommendation service The Infatuation, returns with some stellar options like Roberta’s Pizza, Roberta’s Burger, John’s Juice, Taiyaki and Dough. You can also try the viral Ramen Burger (sandwiches that use ramen noodles instead of burgers), Wowfulls (Hong Kong delicacies with unique waffles) and Dō (the best cookie dough).

And to celebrate the borough’s fine and diverse cuisine, the Queens FEASTival will make its comeback. The indulging food was curated by Queens based food writer and gastronomic adventurer Joe DiStefano of Chopsticks and Marrow. Pay as you go and sample foods such as Mexican carnitas tacos from Corona’s Tortas Neza, Thai dessert toast and roti from Elmhurst’s Sugar Club, Colombian arepas from Jackson Heights’ Arepa Lady and Indian pani poori duo from Astoria’s Kurry Qulture.

A new addition to this year’s FEASTival is Hellen You’s Dumpling Galaxy. Alongside her mother, You learned to cook for her father who was imprisoned for speaking out against government corruption. When she moved to the US in her 20s, she explored her passion for dumplings through a stall at Flushing’s Tianjin Dumpling House before opening her own shop, Dumpling Galaxy, in Flushing.

If you’re watching what you’re eating, some vegetarian highlights include Arancini Bros, Bareburger, Friterie NYC, Pizza Nova, Hebros Kitchen and Jalapeno Corn Dog. Vegan options include John’s Juice, Taqo cup, Van Leeuwen, Takumi Taco, Monks Eats, Try Vegan, Tea and Milk, Hong Kong Street Food, Four Boys, Hippie Dips and Southernmost Falafel.

The Meadows will take place at Citi Field from September 15-17. For more information on the food lineup, head to You can also purchase tickets at
