The agenda includes a public hearing regarding an application to the New York City Board of Standards and Appeals by Gerald J. Caliendo, RA, AIA, on behalf of the owner of record, Gerry Kaplan/Marlene Realty Co., for a special permit under Sections 73-36 and 42-00 of the Zoning Resolution to allow a physical culture establishment in an M1-1 Zone at 63-03 Fresh Pond Road in Ridgewood (Block: 3608; Lot: 14). Another public hearing will be conducted regarding the Department of Transportation's recommendation to convert 78th Road between 80th Street and 83rd Street in Glendale into a one-way street westbound in order to improve traffic safety in that area. 78th Road between 80th Street and 79th Lane is already operating one-way westbound.
