Carmela (Cotugno) Clark: First Anniversary in Heaven

Carmela “Camile” Clark of Flushing passed away on October 3, 2014. Carmela was a dedicated Volunteer who logged over 14,000 hours of service within her 40 plus years at the NYVA Medical Center. She was a long time member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Maspeth Post 783. She was District President as well as President of the VAVS Committee, President of the United Veterans & Fraternal Organization of Maspeth, and President of AARP 2701. Carmela also volunteered at her church, St. Andrew Avellino in Flushing and was part of the Rosary Society, First Friday Club and the Consolation Organization.

Loving sister to Josephine, Dominick, Nicholas, Elizabeth and Diane. Cherished Aunt to 10 nieces and 1 nephew and also 14 great nieces and nephews. She was laid to rest in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Maspeth with her husband Emmett. Always in our thoughts and forever in our hearts.
