Dessert Goals, a festival dedicated to trendy sweets, certainly lived up to its name during a weekend stint at Dobbin St. in Williamsburg.

This year’s festival featured vendors such as Van Leeuwen Artisan Ice Cream, Underwest Donuts, Coolhaus, Taiyaki NYC and Rare Bird Sweets. Also in attendance was Ring Ding Bar’s Madeline Lanciani, a “Chopped” Champion on Food Network, who showed off her mess free, cake-like pastry.

At the festival, one also found banana pudding, thai iced tea cupcakes, mochi ice cream, churro sandwiches, chocolate mousse, caramel, macarons and more.

Festival founder Liang Shi explained that due to the amount of diversity in New York, there was no need to have overlapping eats being offered. One standout was Rockaway Beach-based business Jae NYC Eats, who sold twinkie-inspired cakes with unique flavors such as Mango Saffron, Ube Unicorn and Dom Perignon Truffle Honey.

While a rooftop provided Instagram worthy opportunities like the Salt Bar, Gummy Bear Lounge and a Dylan's Candy Bar station, festival organizers kept Instagram users in mind with a beautiful pink and floral set for those who are keen on food photography.
