The PS 34 Green Team and Tina Wong, a sustainability coach from National Wildlife Federation, recently put together an Eco Fashion show.

The purpose was to teach kids about environmentally friendly design and give them a chance to express their own creativity with a unique creation, like a dress made from paper plates or Whole Foods bags.

The student designers used all recycled and upcycled materials to showcase Greenpoint's Past, Present and Future in three collections.

The event was hosted at Bushwick Inlet Park, and models from Lions Modeling Agency were invited to teach the kids how to walk the runway and add a professional air.

PS 34 is located at the intersection of Norman and McGuiness avenues in Greenpoint. For more photos from the event, click here.
