Sometimes a little sibling rivalry can be a good thing. We’re sure that the St. Francis Men’s Cross Country team would agree.

Last Saturday, freshman brothers Joseph and Paul Gilhuley competed in the 8k event at the Fairfield invitational. The two brothers, both Bishop Ford alums, performed admirably, with Paul placing 9th in the event and finishing with a time of 25:52. Joseph, not far behind, came in at 26:01. Both times eclipsed the previous freshman record of 26:30.

Paul's efforts, which include three top 25 finishes, earned him Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week honors for the week of September 29th. We’re sure it won’t be the last such award that this pair lands.
