Over 3,000 runner left the park for a run down Booth Memorial Avenue, looping around the Kissena Park before eventually making their way to Main Street and the Queens Botanical Garden before re-entering the park for the final seven miles.
The top male finisher was Umberto Persi of Italy, who clocked a time of 1:11:40. On the women's side, Laura Dunn of Scotland took top honors, finishing in 1:21:49.
The first runner from Queens on the men's side was seventh-place finisher Logan Desouza of Long Island City with a time of 1:18:27. The fastest time by a Brooklyn resident went to Spencer Gallop, whose time of 1:22:18 was good enough for 15th place.
The top time from Queens from a woman was the 1:32:12 race run by Deki Yangzom of Elmhurst, who finished 99th overall and seventh among woman. The first Brooklyn woman to cross the finish line was Regan Colestock, who turned in a time of 1:34:19, which landed her in 129th place overall and 13th among female runners.
