I think Congressman Cantor's rejection by the hyper, Anti-Anything-Obama faction is good. The guy was an opportunistic representative of today's backward leaning version of the GOP.
That he was not even regressive enough to satisfy the Tea-gressers may be helpful in making what is left of thinking Republicans take stock of what has happened to their party and vote against their steady downward spiral. Let us hope for their sake, Senator "No" McConnell enjoys the same fate.
Sometimes that one additional dark step backward is what is necessary to see the light forward.
