In Feng Shui, green is the color most associated with renewal, rebirth, health, healing and fertility. “Wearin’ ‘O The Green” should not be reserved only for St. Patrick’s Day but should be worn quite often throughout the year. Since green is a color representative of our dear Mother Nature herself, one would naturally feel closer to the earth and more energized when wearing this particular palette. In a world where everyone is now “going green,” what better month than March to start “going green” with your wardrobe. On March 17th, it was indeed hard to find someone who wasn’t donning the demeanor of an Irishman, a country of people who apparently wear lots of this lucky little color!
Dispelling the whole ‘with envy’ idea, we recognize that green really is a universal color that allies itself with the land and the trees all around us -- and therefore brings us closer to grass than it does to snickers and snide gossip. Feng Shui proposes that there are certain colors that resonate with particular organs or energies the body itself. Green is said to line up with all the energies associated with the heart, including love itself. Green sits at the center of the color spectrum, much the same as our hearts pump from the center of our chests sending our circulation and our love out into the universe with equal measure. Wearing green will project an air of balance and vitality out to the world while it works on an internal level to bring both of those attributes to your physical being.
Gotta love the green! This spring, do more than just lower the wattage of your light bulbs and turn your water off while you brush your teeth. Go green with your style choices and help to heal your whole world. The Wearin’ O The Green really is a lucky style choice now, isn’t it?
