Maspeth resident Mike LoCascio was installed as president of the Maspeth Lions Club this week at O’Neills Restaurant. Here is he pictured with Councilwoman Liz Crowley. Crowley commented that LoCascio, a Community Board 5 member, is “just the kind of community activist we need in the neighborhood.” LoCascio is also the Parish Athletic Director for St. Stanislaus Church in Maspeth. “Elizabeth is one of those leaders you can count on to come through to support our kids,” he said. The Maspeth Lions Club meets the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month for dinner at O’Neills.
