Martin Luther came back not once, but twice against Lawrence Woodmere with a three-run 5th and 6th inning to win 9-6 and start 2-0 in PSAA action.

With bases loaded in the 5th inning, Eddie Mamut hit a sacrifice fly and with two outs freshman catcher Kahmari Rabsatt doubled in two more runs. In the 6th inning, leadoff batter Patrick Kelly singled, Kevin Schnick singled and Danny Valentin doubled scoring two runs. Rabsatt then singled, driving in Valentin.

Center fielder Julien Bello-Kovacevic made a leaping catch at fence to save a run in the top of the 7th inning, as Kevin Schick (2-0) pitched another complete game allowing no earned runs, five hits and striking out seven.
