Martin Luther girl's basketball team took top honors in the Lexington Tournament, defeating Legacy by a score of 51-36.

The Lady Cougars struggled in the first half of the championship game, finding themselves down 10-6 in the first quarter and 20-19 at halftime. They picked up the pace with their man-to-man defense, stealing the ball 16 times and scoring 32 points in the second half.

Dana Azzaro lead all scorers with 28 points, Leslly Marmolejo had her second double-double of the tournament with 11 points and 10 steals, and Franchon Martinez added eight rebounds and four points

The Lady Cougars finished out the season with a 14-1 record, winners of the Martin Luther Invitational Tournament, PSAA Division champions, and runners-up at the PSAA Championship.
