A Pennsylvania woman who pulled over on the Grand Central Parkway during Thursday evenings powerful storms was killed when a tree fell on her car.

Aline Levakis, 30, was on the Grand Central Parkway near 68th Avenue in the 112th Precinct when she was killed. According to police reports, Leuakis had pulled her Lexus Sedan on to the shoulder to wait out the storm when the wind knocked a tree over on top of her car. The Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, woman as pronounced dead at the scene. Billy Levakis, Aline's 60-year-old husband, was sitting in the passenger seat and taken to New York Hospital Queens, where he was treated for minor injuries.
