The St. Johns’ Prep soccer squad, coached by Pietro Asaro and JoeWade Butler, concluded an outstanding season with a thrilling sudden-death loss in the championship game against Cardinal Hayes High School from the Bronx. The Red Storm concluded their regular season with a record of 11-1-1. Regulation time of the championship game ended with a 0-0 tie, and in the sudden death overtime Hayes scored the first goal to clinch the title.
