Police busted multiple massage parlors in Maspeth and Ridgewood last week.

The 104th Precinct announced seven prostitution-related arrests that stemmed from an undercover sting operation executed by the vice enforcement division in both Maspeth and Ridgewood.

Captain Gregory Mackie, according to the newsletter from Communities of Maspeth and Elmhurst (COMET), said that the vice division conducted undercover sting operations in the night hours of March 5.

According to a Community Affiars officer with the 104th precinct, the seven arrests occurred at four different locations.

Arrested at 66-49 Grand Avenue were 29-year-old Carol Hong of Queens, who faces charges of unauthorized practice of profession, while Liu Jia-Jia, 33, of Maspeth and Li Hai Fang, 50, of Queens, both face charges of prostitution.

At 66-47 Grand Avenue Chin Fen Lee, a 52-year-old Maspeth woman, was arrested and charged with unauthorized profession of practice.

Also on Grand Avenue, at 65-50, there were two arrests. Police say Gao Lan, 24, of Queens, is charged with unauthorized profession of practice and Ning Hao, 34, of Maspeth is charged with prostitution.

There was one additional arrest in Ridgewood. Meihua Piao, 51, of Queens was charged with prostitution at 52-01 Metropolitan Avenue.

Vigilance from Maspeth and Ridgewood residents contributed to the arrests.

“Concerned residents, who thought something more than massages were going on, passed this information on to us we and gave it to the 104th Precinct for referral to Vice Enforcement,” said Roe Daraio, president of the COMET Civic Association, in the the group's newsletter. “We want to thank those who took the time to report these locations and encourage those of you who see something to say something. If you want to remain anonymous, pass the information on to us and we'll report it.”
