Mission Statement: Ferrer now has a Pre-Med College Advantage Program for girls who are interested in a career in science. This program provides an intense science program for the most academically motivated students and includes such courses as Human Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry and Organic Chemistry along with Advanced Placement Chemistry. Students in this program also participate in internships in some of the best known medical and science locations in the City of New York. Admission is based on 9th and 10 grade achievement in math and science.

Ferrer also has a highly popular Student Travel Program, offering two trips abroad each year to destinations such as Greece, The Galapagos Islands, Italy, England and France, Spain, Egypt, Peru, Australia, Japan, Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam, and China. Academic credit can be earned on these tours.
