St. SAviour swimmers off to Junior Olympics

Two St. Saviour High School swimmers, Briana Vega (junior) and Caroline Adams (freshman), have qualified for the 2014 Junior Olympics, which will be held from March 14-16 at the Nassau County Aquatic Center in East Meadow. At the “A” Championships in February, Vega (right) earned the Girls Catholic High School Athletic Association’s “Millie Tavaras Most Outstanding Swimmer Award” trophy. At the same competition, Adams finished 3rd overall in the 100m Butterfly and in the top 8 in the 200m.
