Tallahassee (United States) (AFP) - Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston has been cleared of sexual assault allegations after lawyers said there is not enough evidence to press charges. Prosecutor Willie Meggs made the announcement Thursday. The Heisman Trophy candidate Winston had faced charges after being accused of sexually assaulting a woman at an apartment in December 2012. Winston's lawyer said his client had consensual sex with the 19-year-old woman.
