Several people were shot to death on Wednesday in the Houston suburb of Spring, Texas, the Harris County Sheriff's Office said, with local media reporting five people killed. The Houston Chronicle, citing law enforcement officials, reported seven people in all were shot and that three children and two adults among them were fatally wounded in the incident in a residential area in Spring, about 25 miles (40 km) north of Houston.
