Knicks President Phil Jackson, who coached Odom on two Los Angeles Lakers title-winning teams in 2009 and 2010, announced Wednesday that the team has signed the veteran forward for the remainder of the season. Although Wednesday was the last day of regular-season games, the move gives the Knicks a chance to see Odom work out and assess his fitness before possibly committing to him for the 2014-15 campaign.
