MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia's energy minister Alexander Novak said on Friday that Ukraine should pump as much as 10 billion cubic meters into its gas storage facilities or else it faces shortages. He said this should be done by Oct.15 when the winter season starts, and that Ukraine has stockpiled up to 16 bcm of gas already. Novak also said that Moscow is ready to apply retroactively a $100 discount per 1,000 cubic meters of Russian gas to Ukraine. FILE - In this April 8, 2013 file photo, AS Roma soccer club president James Pallotta, center, follows a Serie A soccer match between AS Roma and Lazio at Rome's Olympic stadium. For Italian football fans, merely mentioning the word "scudetto" _ league title _ in association with a favorite club is considered tabu. The theory goes that it's better left unsaid until your squad actually raises the trophy. Yet recently, the word has begun popping up in animated discussions inside Rome's myriad coffee bars and impassioned sports-talk radio stations. The talk, and not only in the capital, is that Roma can put together a serious challenge for the Serie A title this season. Three years after takeover by US owners, Roma is expected to contend for the Serie A title. (AP Photo/Alessandra Tarantino, file)ROME (AP) — For Italian soccer fans, merely mentioning the word "scudetto" — league title — is considered taboo.
