U.S. private employers added 212,000 jobs last month, lower than market expectations as well as January's revised figure, a payrolls processor report showed on Wednesday. Economists surveyed by Reuters had forecast the ADP National Employment Report to show a gain of 220,000 jobs. The ADP figures come ahead of the U.S. Labor Department's more comprehensive non-farm payrolls report on Friday, which includes both public and private-sector employment. Economists polled by Reuters are looking for total U.S. employment to have grown by 240,000 jobs in February, down from 257,000 in January.
JAKARTA, Indonesia (AP) — Two convicted Australian drug smugglers arrived Wednesday at an Indonesian island prison where they are to be executed by firing squad along with seven other foreigners despite clemency appeals from several of their governments. An Indonesian is also scheduled to be executed.

Anlysts say tech boffins will love it but remain cautious about how popular it may be compared to polished conventional smartphones that sit snugly in the palm. Google says the Ara phone is part of its bid to widen Internet access to users in developing countries and could create a new industry for assembly-ready handset parts.
