New Orleans Pelicans starting guard Eric Gordon has been sidelined indefinitely with a torn labrum in his left shoulder, the NBA club announced Monday. Gordon, a seven-year NBA veteran, suffered the injury Saturday in the Pelicans' 106-94 victory over Utah when he separated his shoulder. In 12 games this season, Gordon has averaged 9.5 points and 2.0 assists a game for New Orleans. The Pelicans are 7-5, last in the Southwest division, which is by far the toughest in the league.
