The Japanese experiment shows the limitations of accommodative monetary policy in the presence of deeply entrenched structural problems." ON NEW DEVELOPMENT BANKS "We believe that the creation of new international development banks, such as the BRICS New Development Bank and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, will help boost growth in the world economy over the medium term." ON IMF QUOTA REFORMS "The two interim options that have been proposed – the delinking and ad hoc solutions – make sense only if they do not inhibit the rapid completion of the 2010 reforms.
