(Reuters) - Two New York police officers were shot on Saturday in their patrol car, and a suspect is in custody, a police spokesman said. The officers were on patrol in the borough of Brooklyn. They were taken to Brooklyn's Woodhull Medical Center, and their conditions are unknown, the spokesman said. The suspected shooter, a 28-year-old man, is being treated for injuries at the Brooklyn Hospital Center, and a weapon has been recovered, he said. (Reporting by Ian Simpson; editing by Gunna Dickson)
