A British flag flutters in front of a window in London,By John O'Donnell and Padraic Halpin FRANKFURT/DUBLIN (Reuters) - Ireland says the Brexit vote has led to a jump in enquiries from London firms considering opening offices in Dublin, one of a handful of European cities trying to draw business away from Britain's financial centre. Irish officials say they have had more than 35 concrete enquiries from financial groups looking at setting up a base or expanding in Ireland, which is recovering after near bankruptcy in the financial crash. "Post-Brexit, it's meant a lot more meetings, more phone calls and a lot more travel," said Eoghan Murphy, the minister tasked with promoting Ireland as a financial centre.

TOKYO (Reuters) - Mitsubishi Motors Corp <7211.T> on Tuesday said it will book an additional extraordinary loss of 7 billion yen ($68.42 million) in the year ending March 31 related to overstating the fuel economy on some of its models.

Mitsubishi Motors Corp's Chairman and CEO Osamu Masuko and Head of Research and Development Mitsuhiko Yamashita bow their heads to apologize over the company's mileage scandal at a news conference in Tokyo, JapanBy Naomi Tajitsu TOKYO (Reuters) - Mitsubishi Motors Corp said on Tuesday more of its vehicle models were involved in a mileage cheating scandal than initially stated, and that it would temporarily stop domestic sales of affected vehicles and compensate owners. Earlier in the day, Japan's transport ministry said its investigation had shown the automaker had overstated the fuel economy for eight vehicles including the RVR, Pajero and Outlander SUV models, in addition to four minivehicles initially confirmed in April. The latest announcement deals another reputational blow to Japan's sixth-largest automaker, which has been struggling to recover from the mileage scandal, which affected two minivehicle models produced for Nissan Motor Co Ltd .
