HARARE, Zimbabwe (AP) — Now there are two: Zimbabwe accused a Pennsylvania doctor on Sunday of illegally killing a lion in April, adding to the outcry over a Minnesota dentist the African government wants to extradite for killing a well-known lion named Cecil in early July.
Attention will be focused on Greece's embattled banks on Monday when the Athens stock exchange reopens after a five-week shutdown over the country's debt crisis. Some 40 billion euros ($44 billion) has been withdrawn from Greek banks since December, according to the country's banks association. Greek banks were also recapitalised in 2013 with funds from the country's last EU-IMF rescue package.
MEXICO CITY (AP) — Mexican officials said Sunday they are pursuing all lines of investigation into the torture and killing of a photojournalist whose body was found in Mexico City, where he had fled because of harassment in his home state.
