FILE - In this May 16, 2015 file photo, displaced Iraqis from Ramadi cross the Bzebiz bridge after spending the night walking towards Baghdad, as they flee their hometown, 65 km west of Baghdad, Iraq. Islamic State militants seized the center of Ramadi in western Iraq local officials said. Veterans of the Iraq War watched in frustration as Republican presidential contenders have distanced themselves from the original decision their party enthusiastically supported to invade that country. Some veterans say they long ago concluded their sacrifice was in vain, and are annoyed that a party that fervently lobbied for the war is now running from it. Other say they still believe their mission was vital, regardless of what the politicians say. And some find the gotcha question being posed to the politicians _ knowing what we know now, would you have invaded? _ an insult in itself. Clean-up workers bag up oil deposits from the rocks and beach at Refugio State Beach in Goleta, California, on May 22, 2015A small army of clean-up workers toiled Friday to scoop up crude oil deposits from a picturesque California beach, three days after a pipeline rupture unleashed thousands of gallons into the ocean. The scenic Refugio State Beach and its neighbor El Capitan would usually be swarming with tourists over America's Memorial Day weekend, but were closed until further notice following Tuesday's spill. "The beaches are starting to look a lot better than they did a couple of days ago, but still it will be a long process," said David Mosley, a Coastguard spokesman.
