A relative of a passenger aboard missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 uses her phone at a remembrance event for missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 on the one year anniversary of its disappearance, in Kuala LumpurBy Tim Hepher and Swati Pandey PARIS/SYDNEY (Reuters) - French authorities are studying a large piece of plane debris found on Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean to determine whether it came from Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370, which vanished last year in one of the biggest mysteries in aviation history. A person familiar with the matter told Reuters the part was almost certainly from a Boeing 777, the type of aircraft operated by Malaysia Airlines on the ill-fated flight, but that it had not yet been established if it was a piece of the missing plane. U.S. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump arrives to speak at the Family Leadership Summit in AmesBy James Oliphant WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Some Republicans gleefully scripted Donald Trump's political obituary in the wake of his scathing comments about Sen. John McCain's military service earlier this month, hoping that his freewheeling presidential campaign had finally imploded. Instead, Trump is gaining momentum ahead of next week's first Republican debate, a new Reuters/Ipsos opinion poll shows. The poll shows Trump with his greatest support yet nationally, as nearly a quarter of Republicans surveyed said he would be their choice as the party's presidential nominee in 2016.
