A man stands in front of an altar dedicated to missing and dead passengers on board capsized Sewol ferry, at port in JindoBy Ju-min Park ANSAN South Korea (Reuters) - Six teenagers who survived South Korea's worst maritime disaster told on Monday how classmates helped them float free as water flooded their cabins despite crew instructions to stay put even as their ferry sank in April, killing more than 300 people. "Other kids who got out before us pulled us out." The ferry Sewol sank on April 16, killing 304 people, as many as 250 of them school children on a field trip. The ferry was on a routine trip from the port of Incheon south to Jeju island, carrying students and teachers from the Danwon High School on the outskirts of Seoul as well as other passengers and cargo. Another of the teenagers told how crew members had told passengers, "specifically the students of Danwon High School", to stay in their cabins.

In this Saturday, July 26, 2014 frame grab from video obtained from a freelance journalist traveling with the Misarata brigade, shows an airplane on the tarmac of the airport belching black smoke into the air during fighting between the Islamist Misarata brigade and a powerful rival militia, in Tripoli, Libya. The battle for control of Tripoli's international airport began two weeks ago when Islamist-led militias - mostly from the western city of Misrata - launched a surprise assault on the airport, under control of rival militias from the western mountain town of Zintan. Heavy clashes in the country’s restive east between Libyan soldiers loyal to a renegade general and Islamist-led militias killed dozens of people including civilians, health officials said Sunday. On Saturday, the U.S. evacuated its diplomats in Tripoli to neighboring Tunisia and shut its embassy. (AP Photo/AP video)CAIRO (AP) — The Libyan government is appealing for "international help" after several oil tankers caught fire amid clashes over the country's international airport in the capital, Tripoli.
