Only in its second year, the Queens Veterans Day Parade is quickly becoming one of the most popular events in Middle Village. This year's parade took place on Sunday, November 7.

The parade began at Metropolitan Avenue and 80th Street and ended at Christ The King Regional High School on Metropolitan Avenue off 69th Street.

Several local groups marched in the parade, which featured a presentation honoring former State Senator Serphin Maltese, a Korean War veteran, and other former soldiers.
