NYC Internationalz Open With A Win

The NYC Internationalz kick-off their inaugural season opener with a BIG WIN against the UNDEFEATED CBA NY Albany Patroons 111-104. As the battle for the Greater New York began, the Patroons would lead the 1st quarter 23 to 17, led by PG Shawn Fountain with a total 33 points and 5 assists, Gabe Freeman with a total 18 points and 21 rebounds, and Reynaldo Norman with a total 16 points and 2 assists. New York City would then take the lead by 8 points going into the half and continue to control the pace of the game.

The NYC Internationalz were led by Alexus Foyle scoring 33 points and 6 rebounds- who was recently cut during the Patroons Veteran Camp; Foyle states “I had something to prove, the coach thought I wasn’t good enough, I told him don’t worry, I’ll be back.” Marvin McCullough-the floor general finished with 18 points and 3 assists, Gordon Malone would contribute 13 points and 7 rebounds, Peter Lawal finished with 13 points and 6 rebounds, Justin Marshall contributed 12 points and 7 rebounds, Sean Dantzler with 11 points and 6 rebounds, and Drago Pavlovic with 10 points and 5 rebounds.

The Internationalz will be back in action this Sunday, January 4th at Msr. McClancy High School, 71-06 31st Ave, East Elmhurst NY, 11370
