Hope Reichbach was an unusually talented and vivacious young woman with a very bright future. After graduating from college, Hope, who was only 22 when she died, jumped into the business of community organizing with the commitment and energy of a veteran activist.

She built an impressive array of relationships with people from all walks of life - ties she planned to use in a second race for district leader next year. We’ll never know if she would have won, or what else she would have been able to accomplish.

Hope leaves behind a powerful example of helping others.

She will be sorely missed.
