The Woodhaven Boulevard Bridge near 76th Avenue and Woodhaven Boulevard will undergo a rehabilitation project from August 26 through November.

The LIRR will set up traffic barriers that will create three lanes set northbound and two lanes set southbound on Woodhaven Boulevard Monday through Friday from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m.

All other times, the traffic barriers will be set up so that three lanes will run southbound and two lanes northbound.

The $11 million construction plan includes a single lane closure on the bridge and a temporary pedestrian pathway in place of the east sidewalk.

“It is an ongoing project that includes new bearings and bridge seats, as well as repair of abutments, concrete decks, piers, and structural steel,” said MTA spokesperson Salvatore Arena, and “waterproofing and drainage installation.”
