Eduardo Baltizar, 24, is wanted by police for beating his girlfriend and punching an infant child in the face.

On the morning of Saturday, September 7, police say Baltizar punched his girlfriend in the eye and hit her baby in the forehead while sitting in a parked car in front of 787 Seneca Avenue in Ridgewood.

“We are looking for him now currently,” said 104th Precinct Captain Christopher M. Manson. “I’m particularly annoyed because the baby was in the car, and I don’t know if he intentionally struck the baby or not, but he struck her and she suffered injuries.”

He is currently wanted for assault in the third degree and endangering the welfare of a child, according to police.

“The baby is okay,” Manson assured.

Baltizar’s residence is unknown. He is 5’5” tall and weighs approximately 155 pounds.

Anyone with information on Baltizar’s whereabouts is asked to call the NYPD's CrimeStoppers hotline at (800) 577-TIPS, contact Det. Christopher Spagnola at (718) 417-2200, or call the Detective Borough of Queens North at (718) 520-9200.

The public can also submit their tips at nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting 274637(CRIMES) and then entering TIP577.
