In the 12 & under boys division of the Heroes basketball league, Arby’s Metro beat the Black Knights by a final score of 33 to 13 on Monday. Arby’s Metro just had too much height and strength and pulled away in the third quarter and held the lead throughout the contest. The high scorers for Arby;s Metro were Bodhi Clauss with 14 points and Michael Look with 7. The high scorer for the Black Knights was Eamonn Doran with 6. Devin Vega also contributed in the winning effort with great defense.





Maspeth Maulers 44, Plaster Party Place 16

In the 12 & under boys division of Heroes Hoops league, the Maspeth Maulers beat the Plaster Party place by a final score of 44 to 16 on Monday. The high scorers for the Maspeth Maulers were Steven Kolowski with 14 points and Joseph Dibenedetto with 10 points. The high scorer for the Plaster Party Place was Jonathan Sinacore with 6 points. The Maspeth Maulers methodically built up a lead by hitting the big man off of drives to the basket, and they held the lead throughout the game. John Hughes also contributed in the winning effort with great defense and passing.
