Dear Editor,

How incredibly inconsistent can our own government possibly be?

First, one branch of the Federal government says that for the third time in history, senior citizens and people with disability will not be getting any cost of living increase in their Social Security checks because their studies show consumer prices have not gone up.

Then, another branch of that same Federal government is raising the price of Medicare, the health insurance that all senior citizens and people with disabilities have.

How can this be? Does it make any sense that our government charges more money for health care and at the same time says that their have been no increase in consumer prices? Are they for real?

Sincerely,

Lee Rottenberg
