What's to think about?

Dear Editor:

Cristen Dale, 21, severely beat little Ethan Ali with a belt because he refused to do a spelling lesson. Ethan was three years old. Ethan had belt buckle welts all over his body. Ethan is dead.

And now Ms. Dale is "considering" whether or not to plead guilty and accept a prison sentence of 18 years. Her lawyer Ramon Colon said his client "wants to think about the offer." How about she "thinks" about it while she's led to her execution?

A poor three-year-old boy is dead, and she gets to "think" about wether or not to accept a deal that would let her out of prison at 39? No. She doesn't get to "think about it," she shouldn't get to breathe any longer, and not one cent should be spent to house, clothe or feed her. Done.

Sincerely,

Robert LaRosa

Whitestone
