Holiday tradition

Dear Editor,

The time has come for another annual holiday tradition on Austin Street in Forest Hills. It is the annual parking of the Boston Market rental truck.

The tradition dates back several years. This Boston Market restaurant parks a large white rental truck by the entrance of their kitchen. That is where the truck sits, round the clock for weeks until Thanksgiving.

This year they began the holiday tradition early. As of the morning of November 11, a large white refrigerated rental truck has been parked by the back entrance. The truck has not moved since then.

But the owners of Boston Market do not seem to care that they are breaking laws, nor do they seem to care that their avarice is taking away already limited parking from customers to this commercial area that has recently been hurting for business.

Is this being a good neighbor? Is this good local business practice? Shame on you, Boston Market!

Sincerely,

Brad Reinke
