Clean water

Dear Editor,

The city of Flint, Michigan, is currently dealing with a very dangerous situation due to the fact that its water supply has been contaminated with lead for quite some time.

How could something like this ever occur? Why weren't more stringent measures in place to avoid such a catastrophe? The citizens of Flint deserve safe water.

There should be legal action taken against those officials who must have certainly known that there was a serious problem and obviously kept it quiet.

Every city and town in America should have a clean water supply.

Sincerely,

John Amato
