Not just the GOP

Dear Editor,

In the May 5th issue, Robert LaRosa did his usual castigation of Republican politicians, in this case Donald Trump, as if Democrats are immune to the faux pas.

Just last week while campaigning in West Virginia, Hillary Clinton told residents "We're going to put coal miners and coal companies out of business,” while telling voters that she is "their friend, and if elected, “will fight for them."

Challenged by voters who aren't as stupid as she thinks they are, Mrs. Clinton tried to wheedle her way out of it. She tried several different explanations, which the citizens there didn't buy.

It's not the only time Hillary has been caught in lies. Emails, Benghazi, Vince Foster, Whitewater, claiming she and her husband were broke when leaving the White House while the Clinton Foundation has been racking up millions.

I could go on, but anyone with any sense gets the idea.

Sure seems like Democrats are just as capable of deception as Republicans.
